The Food and Fun festival combines outstanding culinary skills, fresh Icelandic ingredients and the world-famous Reykjavik nightlife making the ultimate recipe for fun.
The festivals core involves world-acclaimed chefs collaborating with Reykjavik’s finest restaurants. Each one of the 17 participating restaurants is assigned one chef who will prepare a special menu made from Icelandic ingredients only witch are presented at all the restaurants for the entire week. All the menus have the same low price, only 7.990 iskr – So book your table early. The Restaurants are: Dill, The Fish Company, Fishmarket, Gallery Restaurant - Hótel Holt, Grand Restaurant, The Grill, The Grillmarket, Höfnin, Kolabrautin, Kopar, Rub 23, The Seafood Grill, Slippbarinn, The Steikhouse, Sushisamba, Tjörnin and Vox.
The restaurant at Hotel Rangá is an acclaimed gourmet restaurant overlooking one of Iceland's finest salmon rivers, East-Rangá River. The restaurant's motto is the concept of a "Farmers Market" - in effect using predominantly local ingredients of the highest quality and freshness - following seasonal availability. The menu is inspired by modern Nordic cuisine with a Mediterranean twist.

At Lækjarbrekka restaurant you can get a special Theatre offer which is a great 2 course menu for only 4.900 ISK. One can choose between 2 main courses - Lamb Sirloin or Fish of the Day. For dessert a happy theatregoer gets Chocolate Fondant, White Chocolate Cake, Caramel Sause and Vanilla Ice.
