You can search by restaurant type, cuisine, location and price. You can also simply search by keywords in the text search. Search results can be sorted by which restaurants have detailed information, official web page, on-line menu, home delivery or take-away. |

We do our best to keep our list updated with all restaurants. If we miss a restaurant or have a restaurant listed that does not exist anymore please help us by notifying us at restaurants@restaurants.is. |

We regularly have various games and offers on our webpage. Visit us regularly and you could win a gift certificate to you favorite restaurant. |

www.restaurants.is is created in the content management system ConMan 2.7, programmed by daCoda (www.dacoda.is). daCoda also designed the look of the webpage, in cooperation with NETID, marketing and business consultancy. |

| 8. What price structure do you use for the restaurants? |
One coin: Entree price under 1.000 ISK.
Two coins:: Entree price 1.000 ISK - 2.500 ISK.
Three coins:: Entree price 2.500 ISK - 4.000 ISK.
Four coins:: Entree price over 4.000 ISK. |
| 9. Do restaurants in Iceland accept creditcards as a payment? |
Yes, all restaurants in Iceland accept all major credit cards, e.g. Visa and MasterCard. |
| 10. Do restaurants in Iceland have dress code in the evenings? |
No, they don't really have dress code but most of the people that go dining in the evening, are pretty well dressed. |
| 11. When are restaurants open? |
Usually restaurants open around 11:30 and close at 24:00.

| 12. When do bars/clubs close? |
From Sundays to Thursdays most bars and clubs close at 1:00 . In the weekend (Fridays and Saturdays) it's different between bars. Some close at 4:30 and some as late as 7:00, so you can go straight for breakfast after a long night out. |
| 13. How much does it cost to have drinks on a bar/pub? |
Alcoholic beverages can be pretty expensive at Icelandic bars. A large beer at the bar can cost up to 700 ISK and a coctail is around 800 ISK. |
