Humarskipid, The Lobstership, is truly a one-of-a-kind restaurant, as it is stationed in Reykjavík harbor. Our specialty is seafood with the lobster as our crown Jewel. We offer lunch and dinner menus with variety of seafood’s best ingredients and meat dishes along with selection of good vines. You can enjoy your order as you marvel over the harbor view and the bird life. We want you to experience an evening to remember.
We welcome all groups as the restaurant has can seat up to 100 people. The kitchen is open at weekdays from 11:00 – 22:00 and on weekends from 11:00 – 23:00.
In cooperation with the whale watching company Life of Whales (Hvalalíf), you can combine your unique dining experience with a trip out to the Faxaflói bay. There you can observe the colorful bird life along with various types of whales. And on the way back you can try your luck with the fishing rod, as they stop for some see angling. If you like, you can then have your catch prepared by the Lobstership´s master chef, and have the freshest seafood you have ever tasted, on your dish. We look forward in seeing you.
